Itinerary
Arrival in Almaty - Welcome to Kazakhstan! Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and freshen up. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your leisure. You can stroll through local markets, sample Kazakh cuisine, or simply unwind at the hotel.
Almaty City Tour - Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day city tour. Discover the stunning Zenkov Cathedral, one of the world’s tallest wooden buildings, and visit Republic Square, a hub of cultural and political significance. Continue to Kok Tobe, a popular recreation area that offers panoramic views of Almaty from the top. Explore local bazaars and try traditional snacks before heading back to the hotel.
Big Almaty Lake and Charyn Canyon - Today, prepare for a day of nature and breathtaking landscapes. After breakfast, set out for the turquoise-colored Big Almaty Lake, nestled in the Tien Shan mountains. Take in the serene beauty, perfect for photos and quiet reflection. Later, visit the awe-inspiring Charyn Canyon, often compared to the Grand Canyon. You’ll have plenty of time to walk around, marvel at the rock formations, and soak up the dramatic views before returning to your hotel in Almaty.
M edeu and Shymbulak Resort - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and head to the famous Medeu skating rink, set in a picturesque mountain valley. Known for its natural beauty and world-class facilities, Medeu is a favorite destination for tourists. From here, you can take a cable car ride to Shymbulak Resort, one of Kazakhstan’s premier ski resorts, where you can enjoy mountain activities, stunning views, and lunch at your own pace. Return to Almaty in the evening.
