Itinerary
Arrival in Kochi - Explore the City - Your Kerala journey begins with your arrival at Kochi International Airport. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and a brief rest, begin exploring Kochi (Cochin), a charming coastal city that reflects Kerala’s colonial past and vibrant culture. Visit the famous Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi, where you can witness traditional fishing techniques. Explore St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India, and Santa Cruz Basilica, known for its stunning architecture. Stroll through the bustling Jew Town and visit the Paradesi Synagogue, a significant heritage site. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kerala Kathakali dance performance or a soothing boat ride along the Kochi Harbour. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Kochi to Munnar - Scenic Drive and Tea Gardens - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Munnar, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Western Ghats, famous for its sprawling tea plantations. The drive to Munnar is a scenic one, with lush green valleys, mist-covered mountains, and waterfalls. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, visit the Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history and process of tea cultivation in the region. Explore the famous Mattupetty Dam and enjoy boating or take a short trek to the nearby Echo Point. End your day with a visit to Kundala Lake or take a walk through the expansive tea gardens, where you can witness the stunning landscapes of Munnar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Munnar Sightseeing - Eravikulam National Park and Attukal Waterfalls - After breakfast, visit the renowned Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Take a scenic ride to Raja Malai to spot these mountain goats and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding tea plantations. Next, head to Attukal Waterfalls, nestled in the forests, where you can enjoy the serenity of cascading waters. On your way back, visit Tea Gardens, where you can relax and enjoy the scenic beauty. Later, explore the Anamudi Peak, the highest point in South India, which offers panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Return to your hotel in Munnar for an overnight stay.
Munnar to Alleppey - Houseboat Cruise in the Backwaters - After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Alleppey (Alappuzha), famous for its enchanting backwaters. On arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat for a unique experience through the winding canals, lush landscapes, and tranquil backwaters. Enjoy a leisurely cruise as you pass by coconut trees, paddy fields, and small villages, experiencing the authentic rural life of Kerala. The houseboat is equipped with modern amenities, offering a comfortable and picturesque retreat. Enjoy a delicious Kerala-style lunch and dinner onboard. Alleppey to Kovalam - Beaches and Relaxation - After a hearty breakfast on the houseboat, check out and drive towards Kovalam, known for its stunning beaches. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Spend the afternoon at Lighthouse Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Kovalam. You can swim, sunbathe, or simply relax while enjoying the beautiful sunset. Visit Hawah Beach and Samudra Beach for a quieter and more serene experience. If you prefer, indulge in a rejuvenating Ayurvedic spa treatment, which Kerala is renowned for. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach or explore the local markets. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Kovalam to Trivandrum - Departure - On your final day in Kerala, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a significant landmark in Trivandrum, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple's architecture and intricate carvings are a true testament to Kerala's rich cultural heritage. If time permits, you can visit Napier Museum or explore the nearby Kuthiramalika Palace Museum. Depending on your departure time, enjoy some last-minute shopping at MG Road before being transferred to Trivandrum International Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
